In this document, the major landmarks or processes in the course of the TBI-Ghana research programme development are synthesized and discussed with particular reference to the objectives of each stage, rationale behind the objectives and a brief evaluation of the activities of each stage. The synthesis is focused on the activities between the desk studies and the identification of research questions to be addressed in the programme.
